Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
A specific item can be used to transform specific Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc and can be given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.
Upgrades can be applied to armors, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools in order to boost their level. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests based on the type of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, armors, weapons and gathering tools in order to add attribute bonuses or other effects when the equipment is being used. Upgrade components can only be used on equipment that has an upgrade slot available. Most upgrade components also require that the item to be upgraded is above a specific level. Some upgrade items have special visual effects that appear when they are used. Upgrade components can be acquired through crafting, bought from karma merchants or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post, salvaged from equipment, or acquired as rewards during games.
There are different upgrade components, each with a different bonus. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions, can be used on any kind of equipment; they provide lower bonuses than other kinds of upgrade components. Infusions can be used on legendary and non-amulet items, and enrichments can be utilized on certain back equipment that has been ascended. Most upgrade components can be replaced when they are inserted into an item, but doing so can destroy the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, which can only be inserted in gathering tools, as well as enchantments. Both are able to be removed and reinserted.
Insignias and enchantments will be displayed their names on the hover display of the item while prefix and suffix upgrades will add their names to the end of the name of the equipment (e.g. an Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will display the number of upgrade components that have been added to it.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to add decorative and useful elements to an OpenType font. These include ligatures, fractions, or ornaments, as well registered trademark symbols, ellipses and swashes as well as swashes. The Glyphs panel lets you view and insert these special characters along with normal glyphs, such as em dashes, en dashes registered trademark symbols and characters that are not found in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph provides an initial boost to the stats of the character. It also includes up to four secondary stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase which is multiplied by other bonuses, except for Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.
The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will bring up a new window that displays the Glyphs you own that can be applied to the item you have selected. You can only apply the appropriate Glyph to the selected item. Every weapon or armor piece has a different collection of Glyphs.
Glyphs can be upgraded by running Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult a Dungeon is, the greater Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph reaches level 15 and is upgraded, it can be upgraded by the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The Paragon Board's radius increases by one node every 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.
Once a glyph has been elevated to the desired level, you can activate it by selecting it, then clicking the "enchant" button. The resulting glyph will provide the stated bonus and increase the number of nodes within its radius on the Paragon Board. It's crucial to place glyphs where they will be most beneficial to your build, and this is why it's a good idea to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Some glyphs, however, could offer double bonuses if certain conditions are fulfilled, so they're worth looking out for too.
If you're having trouble finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to display the panel in a variety of views. Each of these views displays the Glyphs in a different font. You can narrow the list of glyphs further by selecting an option beneath "Entire Font": for example, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs, while Math Symbols reduces the choices to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is the process of creating an account on a different account to increase your chances of obtaining the character or weapon you want. This is done to for you to increase your level faster or to get more valuable loot like the purchase of a new weapon for your character. Many players reroll until they get the characters they like regardless of their abilities. It could be because they like the design or the personality of the character.
You must ensure that you make a clean change when you reroll. This means you should check locally that the patch passes the pre-commit checks, and you should also conduct a core development test. You should upload the patch with a clear distinction to a bug (see What is an interdiff?) ).
Rerolls can take days or weeks, depending on how lucky you are. To save item upgrades be sure to avoid the enemy camps which are not mandatory during this period. It is also recommended to avoid repeating quests that can be completed later on in the game. This can save you time and energy.
When rerolling, it is essential to be aware the upgrade system. There are numerous ways to enhance your character's appearance and power. Upgrades, rerolling characters or upgrading weapons are all options. It is also important to know the limitations of the system.
Rerolling might not be necessary, but it is an effective way to increase your chances of getting an item or character. It is a great option when you're trying to find the most effective character to play or if you're looking to test different play styles and builds.
Sets
A set is a group of objects with common-2 attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen, or the members of a class). Sets are used for operations like intersection, union and differences.
Upgrades can make a set better than it was before. This means that the weapon and armor will have a higher defense value and less requirements for strength.
Upgrading is an excellent way to bring popular single-set items into parity with their higher-tier set counterparts. For instance, upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to Elite Spired Helm boosts the defense from 217 to 321 and reduces the strength requirement and level requirement to a more manageable range.
It's important to remember that not all items in a set can be upgraded. Some sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's shield and Naj's puzzler staff, are already Exceptional in their own rights and don't need upgrading. On the other hand, some items that are BiS and see frequent use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to increase their stats even more. It could be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
